A 29-story officetel on Bandal Island, an artificial island in Sihwa, Ansan.

This is a 29-story complex residential project that has drawn the horizontal line of the sea, which changes with the passage of time, and the light of the sunset falling onto the water surface into the architectural grid. Escaping from the speed of the complex city, we precisely calibrated the proportions of the windows so that the vast sea and sky intersect wherever the gaze lingers. We organized the complex fragments of various uses—from vibrant commercial spaces on the lower levels to private residential spaces on the upper levels—with geometric logic to complete a single massive landmark. The robust structure, completed through rigorous structural stability and meticulous deliberation processes, becomes the safest and quietest sanctuary for those who stay, gifting them the perfect sense of rest that falls onto the water surface every day.
